Queen Anne
Architectural and furniture ornamentation is another of my muses. This design was inspired by a carved decorative border on a buffet in the Queen Anne style (1720-1760) that was treasured by my grandmother and passed down to me. The stylized scallop shell, reinterpreted here, was a distinctive design element from this period.
